At the suggestion of EDNR Cruiser I created a livery for the Bavarian air rescue squadron. The basis were a few photos of this very helicopter.
It remains for me to say thank you for the suggestion, have fun flying, thanks to VSKYLABS for this excellent rotorcraft and of course I would be happy about screenshots with this livery.
But now a few sentences from EDNR Cruiser about the air rescue squadron:
The depicted Robinson R66 helicopter is the only official helicopter under control of the Luftrettungsstaffel Bayern. This R66 is based at EDQD Bayreuth airport in Upper Franconia.
The Luftrettungsstaffel Bayern e.V. (Air Rescue Squadron Bavaria) has been in existence since 1968 and has been an integral part of disaster control in the Free State of Bavaria since 1973. In an exclusively voluntary capacity, the following tasks are performed:
* Forest fire monitoring flights in case of increased forest fire danger
* Observation tasks for monitoring and preventive observations from the air within the scope of all disaster control tasks
* Observation and recording tasks in environmental protection and nature conservation as well as for the protection of historical monuments
* Search for missing persons or aircraft, avalanche observation, traffic observation as well as observation flights during flood situations
Mission flights take place
*at the request of the Bavarian State Ministry of the Interior, Sports and Integration via the central authorities (local governments). Specifically trained and qualified Air observers support the pilots.
*Observation flights are also carried out by the pilots on their own initiative on a voluntary basis and at their own expense, especially during the summer months.
Most of the mission flights are flown on small 2 and 4 seater aircrafts, provided by local flying clubs that are members of the rescue squadron. All pilots fly their mission on a voluntary and unpaid basis.
