DA42/DA62 Normal and Emergency Checklists for XChecklist

This add-on provides Normal and Emergency Checklists tailored for the Aerobask DA42 and DA62 aircraft, designed for use with the XChecklist plugin in X-Plane 12. It includes various preflight and in-flight procedures based on the aircrafts official documentation and operators procedures. Users are advised to utilize this tool for verification purposes only and not as a training manual. Proper setup of the XChecklist plugin is required for optimal functionality.

DA42/62 Checklists for use with Aerobask DA42/62 and XChecklist Plugin

Description: Normal and Emergency Checklists
Tested in XP12r006 using the Aerobask DA62
Based off the Diamond's AFMs and my operator's procedures
Procedures have been adjusted to work with the limtiations of XChecklist and the Aerobask Mod
**AGAIN - DO NOT USE FOR INSTRUCTION IF YOU ARE TRAINING ON TYPE**

Normal Checklists:
    Preflight
    Before Start
    Engine Start
    Before Taxi
    Taxi
    Before Takeoff
    After Takeoff
    Descent
    Landing
    After Landing
    Shutdown

Emergency Checklists:
    Both Engines Out Landing
    Complete Electrical Failure
    Ditching
    Engine Failure in Flight
    Engine Fire in Flight
Gear Unsafe or Manual Gear Extension
    Landing with Gear Up
    Landing with One Engine Inoperative

NO AUTOMATIC FUNCTIONALITY >> I recommend setting up a joystick or key shortcut to save you having to click on the tickbox with your mouse. (I'm using the trigger on my joystick.)

Remember that the DA42/62 are light twins generally flown single pilot. You have to accomplish these checklists yourself, situation permitting. Several Emergency Checklists rely on engine securing memory items. I strongly recommend practising control of the aircraft single engine in various phases of flight and practising engine failure drills before attempting to utilise these checklists. The checklist is there to verify you have done the required actions - it is NOT an instruction manual! Workload in the real plane is high!

Reommendation: Some of the checklists are quite large so I suggest turning on the translucent background in the XChecklist setup to transparent so you can still see while flying.

Feedback is very welcome. I'm planning on adding more emergency checklists in future. For reasons of realism, I'm not planning on adding automatic functionality, but let me know your thoughts.
